Explicit

Explicit is no longer under active development and has NOT been updated to run on Intel Macs. However, it's open-source, so do what you like with it.

SplitFuse is a good alternative to Explicit.

Explicit is a Mac OS X application for splitting AVI (DivX, xviD etc) video files. It uses the mencoder engine and is released under the terms and conditions of the Free Software Foundation's GNU General Public License which should accompany both the binary and the source code in cases of redistribution.

The latest version is Explicit 1.3. It requires MacOS X 10.2 or later in order to run and is available only as a PPC binary.
